Whether you are new to the area or are just looking for transit alternatives - this is the place to start. Use this page as a starting point to learn more about the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC) and the transit service we provide for Prince William and Manassas area residents.

Getting Started

To get to know us take a quick tour of our site:

OmniRide - comfortable and efficient commuter bus service from eastern Prince William County and the Manassas area to the Mark Center, Pentagon, Crystal City, Rosslyn/Ballston, Tysons Corner, downtown Washington, D.C., and the Washington Navy Yard.  Visit the Places of Interest page for a listing of landmarks and attractions served by OmniRide buses.

Metro Direct - an all-day connection between the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station and eastern Prince William, or rush hour service to and from the Tysons Corner Metro Station from Manassas and Gainesville.

OmniLink - an innovative local bus service that serves traditional bus stops but also allows buses to travel up to 3/4 mile off of the standard route.  An instructional video about how to use the OmniLink bus service is posted on our YouTube channel in English and Spanish.  For a listing of local shopping centers, leisure attractions, medical centers and more served by OmniLink routes, see the Places of Interest page.

Cross County Connector -- offers weekday connections between eastern Prince WilliamCounty and the Manassas area.

Service Updates - all the latest service related information, like emergency service and route changes.

MyPRTC - provides your own personal view of PRTC services.  It allows you to customize your experience on this website to display the information you need.

Rider Tools - a set of tools to help you to calculate the best route for your trip -- provides assistance finding the nearest bus stop, individual route and stop information and Google Transit Tripplanner.

Rider Express - subscribe to get all the latest service related information by email or SMS text message.

MyLink Teen Summer Pass - A bus pass that's valid from June through August and allows teen-agers unlimited rides on OmniLink and the Cross County Connector for one low price!
